    I leave the straw soaking about 16 hours, after that i leave it 4 hours draining but think this is not enough beacuse the straw still very wet after the 4 hours drained.

    what can i do to take out the excess water in the straw?

    Hi there,

    I use hydrated lime to pasteurize the straw and the straw dont drain too well the moisture. I used to left the straw draining like 4 hours over  bread trays.

    My question is what i can do to get the right moisture for the straw? Now i have a lot of water in it.

    Hi there,

    I´m wondering if i can use other material instead of straw(Wheat, raice, etc.).

    Like raice bran(see picture), i don´t known is the exactly name in english, that´s why i attach the picture. This material is quite easy for me to get it.

    Or anyother option to use it to mix with the coffee?
